Pretty much any provider that lets you forward the DID to a SIP URI should work. And a decent fraction of the DID suppliers have that feature. So just look for a provider that has the "SIP URI" (or free VoIP address) "forwarding" feature, and you should be good to go.

NOTE: What country do you want the DID in? If you just want a free USA DID, you could grab one from http://www.ipkall.com for no cost at all!

I'm in Australia and I don't believe there are too many providers that will allow you to forward DIDs to another provider, at least I have not found one yet. AstraTEL (www.astratel.com.au) and SIPME (www.sipme.com.au) do not provide the feature.

In addition, the DIDs tend to cost money here (about $5-$10 per month from most providers). There is a company called Voxbone that you can purchase one from but they are pretty expensive $USD12 per month I believe for a 02 number in Australia.

Please tell me if I am off the mark here anywhere.
