No inbound calls
Hi Everyone,
I am having this unique problem for the past one week, i.e no one (voxalot users) is able to reach me ie whenever they dial my voxalot number either through a SIP broker PSTN or through a voip all they get is a dead silence but whenever i call other voxalot user i am able to call them without any issues at all. At my end i am using a siemens C475 IP phone with STUN enabled and the proxy as us.voxalot.com would be glad if any one could throw more light on the issue . Thanks in advance |

What have you tried so far? Are you forwarding the SIP port used on your end? Is the C475 IP phone sending NAT keep alive packets? If you send me your number I'll call and see if the SIP packets give any clue.

Your phone appears to be registered, however I never got the 180 status message, meaning SIP packets originated from the Internet cannot reach your phone. You should enable 'NAT keep alive' (usually every 179 seconds will do), or forward the SIP port used on your end.

docknden1,
Are you now able to receive calls? Incoming calls seem to be reaching your phone. It looks like you are using 'NAT keep alive' rather that port forwarding, and your RTP connection address is your public IP address, as it should be. |

Hi Boatman ,
The problem seems to reappear again i.e anyone trying to call my voxalot number goes to the voice mail and my phone does not rings at all earlier when i had this problem i swithched from the eu.voxalot.com realm to us.voxalot and that seemed to have solved my problem, but for the past two days i am facing this problem again. I am even using the stun server,I would be glad if any one can throw any light on the issue. |

Your device seems to be registered, however there may be a problem with NAT traversal in your router. I suggest you forward the SIP port used on your end.
