Inbound calls dropping at 3:12 minutes
I have a problem where inbound calls from pennytel are dropping at 3 minutes and 12 seconds. This has been occuring for a long time.
I'm using a Nokia E63 over Wi-fi and when I connect directly to Pennytel the problem goes away. I just tested my E71 with Mynetfone and have the same problem. Please help Mark Last edited by buzz1961au; 10-25-2010 at 11:04 PM. Reason: Additional information |

What about SIP calls directly to your Voxalot number? Do those have the same problem?
Does same problem occur when your phone is connected through a different WiFi hotspot? |

I'll have to find a different WiFi point to use. But when I register the phone directly with Pennytel on the same WiFi the calls don't time out, so I'm inclined to assume it's not the WiFi or the phone.
When the E63 or E71 is registered with Voxalot, incoming calls from both Mynetfone and Pennytel timeout at the same point, so it's not a problem with Pennytel. I have two pennytel accounts, so for a test, I registered Voxalot on one account and the E63 on the other, then call forwarded the Mynetfone from one pennytel account to the other via Voxalot. The inbound call from Mynetfone did not timeout ??? So it's looks like a problem between Volalot and the Nokia E63/E71. (This is at least a no cost work around!). Mark |
