![]() I'd like to port an existing USA number to a system that simply provides voice mail with message forwarding by email. After reading this site, I'm still confused with respect to whether I can port my number to Voxalot.
Can someone shed light on what level of service I would need and what process I will need to follow to port my existing number? Thanks! |

![]() You won't be able to port a number to VoXalot
You'll need to find a Voice Service Provider that can do porting, and then you can simply direct calls to VoXalot from there VoiceMail and VoiceMail to email is included in Free VoXBasic accounts though... In the US, I know the following do porting: FutureNine In Canada: Voip.ms Link2Voip Les.net |

![]() Thanks... that's what it appeared to me, but a user on a another forum directed me to Voxalot as a solution for the service I'm looking for.
I've seen FutureNine, and it looks like what I need. Anyone know other providers I should consider? |

![]() After your post here, I did this on DSLReports:
[General] VoIP providers with LNP Support - dslreports.com Watch that post for a few days, see what others suggest... Of course, if it is not imperative that you keep this number...you may better off (price-wise) just getting a new number with a VoIP Service Provider directly... |

![]() Outstanding!
I've had this one number for almost 15 years. Though I don't really use it as my primary inbound/outbound number, I've disseminated it to so may personal and business contacts in the past that I want to make sure these old contacts can still reconnect with me. Thanks again for the info. |
