![]() Hello,
I have voxalot registered to a provider 3starsnet which has my DID. C450IP <----> voxalot <----> 3starsnet.com (DID) This has been working fine for weeks, since today I am not receiving calls. Callers to my DID get "the person at extension .. is not available" Callers to my voxalot number get through and all works fine. On the voxalot web I can see that 3starsnet is active and registered. I tried unregistering and re-registering, no change. On the call log of 3starsnet I can see the failing incoming call On the call log of voxalot I cannot see it What is happening and how can I fix this? thanks |

I would check the following: 1. If you register with 3starsnet.com directly via the ATA (no VoXalot involved) can you receive calls then? 2. If it works above then try this: -Edit 3Starsnet in VoXalot and change the password to the wrong password -This will cause it to fail -Now turn SIP Register to No -Wait for a while...ideally until the satus changes from 'Failed' to '-' -Now go back to edit the provider, enter the correct password and re-enable SIP Registration -Wait until it shows registered and test... 3. As for not seeing it in the VoXalot logs...unfortunately the VoXalot logs only show outgoing calls ...not incoming...so you wouldn't see it in the VoXalot logs even if it was working... |

![]() Hi Emoci,
thanks for your answer. Responding for grenadine now... Quote:

I have even deleted the provider and entered it again, still "Failed" Quote:
I wonder how I can troubleshoot this further, would 3starsnet be blocking registrations from voxalot? I have been working for months... |

![]() I was having similar problems where no incoming calls would ring my ATA anymore. I solved it by creating a single call fowarding rule:
1 Any Every - - Your Voxalot Number Yes Now all works as expected again. |

![]() shighfield, thanks for your answer! It gave me hope... but the result is the same with the default route set up.
C450IP is registered to voxalot and incoming calls to voxalot (via pstn gateway) work fine voxalot is registered with 3starsnet, but calls to the 3starsnet DID lead to "the person at extention xxx is not available" |

![]() I have modified the çatch all' rule to divert incoming calls to voicemail or my mobile phone, it doesn't change the behavior: when I call the 3starsnet number I always get the message "the persion at extension xxx..."
Frustrating, as I have paid the premium voxalot subscription to be able to receive calls from 3starsnet. ![]() Any hint about how to troubleshoot this further would be more than welcome... thanks |

Register with Voxalot using the same username/password and she gets a fast busy tone when she calls my DID. I hope this can be resolved soon as I am also wasting my money! hkp |

![]() Another test to confirm the problem:
I setup a "catch all" rule to forward all incoming calls to my mobile. If I call my voxalot number using a PSTN access gateway, it works reliably. If I call my 3starsnet DID, it fails (reliably too...) This confirms the problem is on the leg between voxalot and 3starsnet. I would use call fowarding if 3starsnet supported it, but they don't. That is why I took the premium account at voxalot in the first place. Is there a way to obtain logs from that incoming call on the voxalot side? |

![]() I have now asked the provider 3starsnet to forward all calls to the voxalot SIP URI and this works fine.
Too bad the voxalot registration did not do the trick. Last edited by caiman; 08-28-2009 at 09:51 AM. |
