Just in case anyone else has this problem...
This behaviour is cause by having a dial plan entry that uses Voxalot.com as a provider.
I though I was being correct by "documenting" all 6 digit numbers are redirected via voxalot (and also 500 and 600).
My tips are:
1. Don't use Voxalot.com as a provider in your dial plans.
2. Don't worry if the Test utility in the dial plans section says "A call to:xxxxxx will not get forwarded" and it's a voxalot number. It still works.
