Hi all,
I have quite an interesting situation. I've got Linksys SPA3102 on one end and Billion 6404VGP R3 on the other end.
- Linksys has a public routable IP. Voaxalot Symmetric NAT = NO
- Billion sites behind a broadband router with a private IP. Voxalot Symmetric NAT = Yes
- Both devices register with Voxalot fine
Both devices can successfully make calls to PSTN via a provider registered with Voaxalot. Calls from Linksys to Billion work very well also.
The problem is with calls initiated from Billion to Linksys - everything seems fine, but after about a minute (maybe two - it varies it seems) the call is disconnected.
On Billion side one can hear some noise before the disconnect, on Linksys side it just goes quiet before Linksys gives the engaged / call failed tone.
I tried debugging, but don't know enough to understand the output. I can see a SIP BYE packet in Billion Logs (received or sent - I don't understand). Also in Linksys logs it seems that the RTP ports change several times before disconnect.
If anyone knows where to start looking / had a similar problem, please help.
Tks in advance.
PS. I also call another voxalot user, who has X-Lite behind a NAT router. That always works well both ways.
