Only problem is that pattern would also match non toll-free numbers, such as area code 806 (Texas).

No. In my dial plan I have each set up as a priority:
800 _1800. etc
866 _1866. etc
etc

Then follow with priority 900 being all other 1NXX. numbers. Hope that make sense.

Exclamation Finally found the problem - user error....

Finally found the problem - user error. Apparently while tweaking my Sipura I changed the RTP Packet Size to 0.20 instead of .020 :eek:. Calls now sound fine.
