Ata don't ring with SIP-coded originated inbound call!

Hi all,

My ATA don't ring when calling your SIP-coded number from another network then VoXaLot. Ex.:
  • When call (from GIZMO network) *010XXXX = No rings, i get voicemail box.
  • When call (from GIZMO network) *013<ENUM> = No rings, i get voicemail box.
  • When call (from GIZMO network) sip:XXXX@voxalot.com = ATA rings.

What is happen?

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

Sometime simple things are missing :

-is you ata actively registered to voxalot ?

- on my linksys I needed to change a call waiting option to no (it's on YES by default).

- did you already get call on you ATA ?

- as you mention, only SIP aliases aren't coming in... Did you try with SIP URI (like 00000@voxalot.com) ?

I think that is a NAT problem. Caller and calle are behind same NAT.

I better think there is a problem between the SIP URI (xxx@voxalot.com) and the alias (*xxxx). If you get the voicemail, this means the call arrives up to voxalot.com, and stops here, instead of being "forwarded" to your ATA.

But you are maybe right... Your router is maybe forwarding you port 5060 to gizmo instead of your ATA...

To be sure : find a friend who will call you on you voxalot.com URI :)
