Hi,
I have my voxalot and it works quite well! I can do any call - fine, but as soon as s.o. asks me how he/she can call me from a normal phone, I have no quick answer  I have to go to the internet searching for - what the hell were they called - and put together all those information until I finally can write s.th like from 'your country' you dial this areacode to get acces to the voip-net and then .. Wouldn't it be very helpful if everyone has this on his personal voxalot member page? 1st: one's internet voip no. like *031 305234 (who remebers one owns area code, you never use it) 2nd: ( a direct link to ) an explanation for a not-voip-memeber how to call this voip-phone-no from a normal phone and the link to - what was their link, sipbroker.com? - .. from where I tell them what to dial.. Either to send the link or to explain it to s.o. Even this I'll forget qickly, because I don't need it - I have voxalot :) Imagine you are calling s.o. at his normal phone and within this call you are asekd how to be called back and you want to find a quick! answer.. My first idea was to go to my memberpage - I think it would be the right page. Thanks, Carl |
I guess, but it is pretty Simple
1. Find a Number Local to the person that wants to call you SIPBroker - PSTN Numbers 2. He should enter your Number/Extension when prompted in the format *010xxxxxx (where xxxxxx is your VoXalot Number) THAT'S ALL!!! Note: For ease of use every VoXalot user (regardless of server cluster) can be reached with *010 or any other of the two SipCodes assigned to VoXalot |
As emoci rightfully points out, any Voxalot member is reachable by using the *010 prefix irrespective of what cluster the caller and/or callee is registered on.
