Dialing Tollfree numbers
I want to use my own provider to dial toll free numbers. I have callcentric registered. The thing is that I call tollfree numbers which need to see my callcentric caller ID. Using dial plans to establish this doesn't seem to work
Martin, any way to do this? |
In your dial plan, change ENUM Lookup to no.

Fantastic, that works!
Just one more thing. Is there a single pattern I can put in for all 800, 866, 877 and 888 nos? If so, what would it be? Thank you |
No. In my dial plan I have each set up as a priority:
800 _1800. etc 866 _1866. etc etc Then follow with priority 900 being all other 1NXX. numbers. Hope that make sense. |

This would match the above mentioned numbers. Don't forget about the "dot" at the end. - gambrinus |
Pattern would be "8[0678][0678]."
Only problem is that pattern would also match non toll-free numbers, such as area code 806 (Texas). |
Ok, didn't know which country you are from. For example in the German numbering plan all 8xx numbers are toll free... and all 9xx numbers are premium rate, whereas 7xx numbers are "personal" so it's kinda easy to make dial plans for that. ;-)
