using ENUM from UK
I live in the US.
I got an ENUM (FreeNum.164). This ENUM has the format 882-9999-nnnnnn I gave this ENUM to my friend in the UK so that he could call me. He dialed the local PSTN at Birmingham +44-121-314-8447 He was greeted by the message - "Thank you for calling the PSTN Access Network. Please enter your number followed by the hash key." But when he enters 8829999nnnnnn# the call does not go thru. Instead he keeps getting the same message - "Thank you for calling the PSTN Access Network. Please enter your number followed by the hash key." What's wrong? I have given the same ENUM to people in the US and Canada and they can call me from their local PSTN Access Network. |
I think you also need the prefix for the Sipbroker enum server *013
so *0138829999nnnnnn# |
Andy, thank you!
