smart call list help

I have x-lite registered with voxalot

I have 2 vsp's in my account
I have set up several smart call lists and they all work when calling regular telephone numbers and going through the correct vsp
I call direct call any sip uri with x-lite and I assume it goes out directly via voxalot and not one of my 2 vsp's

My issue is when I want x-lite to call a a telephone number which my smart call list assigns a suffix to to make it a sip uri

More specifically when I input "18003569377@sip.tollfreegateway.com" into x-lite it works without problems.

If I assign a smart call list where the number 18003569377 get assigned a suffix of @sip.tollfreegateway.com and choose voxalot as my vsp. I get a recording saying my call cannot go though.

Here is my smart list for this situation
Priority 1
Comment
Pattern _18003569377
Replacement ${EXTEN}@sip.tollfreegateway.com
Enum Replacement ${EXTEN}
Active Yes
GEO Number
ENUM Lookup No
GEO Lookup No
Provider Voxalot

Any help would be much appreciated.

regards,
M

I do not think you need a suffix on this "sip.tollfreegateway.com"

I think instead you need to set up sip.tollfreegateway.com as a VSP

then conform your dialing plan to theirs, and send the call to that new trunk

probably what is happening from what I understand you are probably sending out a call like

Code:

1800XXXXXXXXXX@sip.tollfreegateway.com@sip.otherprovider.com
but I am just guessing.

The easiest way is actually just prepend the 1800, 1877, 1866, 1888 numbers with * and let voxalot handle them, as if you dialed them with the *.

I thought of adding them as a VSP but since it is a free service you cannot register with them. All you have to do to use the service is send to their domain name with the 800 # as the user.
For this reason I was trying with the smart dial plan

Two things to try:
-Select SipBroker as the VSP
-Create a provider for TollFreeGateway using a random username password and of course do not tick SIP Register
