Problems registering with VSP Budget Phone
Hi,
As you can see from the first screenshot (10/01/2007 12:53 PM) I've been trying to register with VSP Budget Phone. Somehow the registration just fails, but it's not clear what goes wrong. The same message "Sent request" has been sitting there for weeks. I've tried "budgetphone.nl" instead of "sip.budgetphone.nl", but then I get a bad-host error. I've gone through the settings with Budget Phone technical support (see screenshot 10/01/2007 05:17 PM) and that doesn't give us any clues either. It would be very helpful if I could pass on any information from Voxalot admins that could possibly explain why this fails to Budget Phone so that we can resolve this issue together and hopefully help future customers. Is it neccessary to have Number@sip.budgetphone.nl as the username.....
Try entering the username without the @sip.budgetphone.nl part |

With this VSP it is neccessary. But only budgetphone.nl, so not sip.budgetphone.nl. @marjolein: Nog een paar foutjes in je providergegevens. In een eerdere tread Martin van Voxalot adviseerde eerst de provider te verwijderen en geen advanced mode te gebruiken. Bij mij werkend: Providername: Budgetphone inbound(voor outbound extra provider aanmaken, indien nodig! (112, 0800)) Username: 31123456789@budgetphone.nl Codecs: alaw;ulaw;g726;g729;ilbc;gsm Host: sip.budgetphone.nl Port: 5060 Active: yes Register: yes Optimize audiopath: no Providername: Budgetphone outbound(indien nodig voor 112 en/of 0800) Username: 31123456789 Codecs: alaw;ulaw;g726;g729;ilbc;gsm Host: budgetphone.nl Port: 5060 Active: yes Register: no ! Optimize audiopath: no 31123456789 door jouw nummer te vervangen, of course. |

So, so happy. Look at this screenshot: 10/02/2007 01:50 PM I've finally succeeded to get it to work, thanks to your suggestions, 130166! I removed the profile in simple mode, re-entered the details, saved the profile, and a few minutes later the "Pending" note was replaced by "Registered". I've informed Budget Phone support by e-mail.
