Cannot login voicemail
 
I just set up a new account and it works fine!. However, when I tried to login my voicemail (500) for the first time, using the default "9999" password it keeps saying "login incorrect". My ATA has g711--> g729 as priority order, so the codec should not be the problem.
How come? What to do? Thanks!

The problem is more than likly DTMF related. Check what codec your ATA is using while connected to voicemail and your DTMF setting.

For example g729 can NOT use inband DTMF.

Martin,
I too had the problem mentioned by others where voicemail login always gets the response "login incorrect, please try again".
Your suggestions to others had mentioned DTMF method, so I tried some variations.
My problem was solved by de-selecting "SIP info" on the Grandstream 488.
The other two may be ON, but SIPinfo could not be used with either of the others. My G/S Budgetone can be configured the same way.
