Calls between two Voxalot accounts

I'm having problems making calls between two Voxalot accounts. Both ATAs are registered to Voxalot (checked on account details page), I have no problems making test calls to *600 and *500. However, when I'm trying to call one account from the other, either by dialing its 6-digit number or dialing *010 followed by 6-digit number, the call goes straight to VoiceMail (if enabled), or I get a message saying the call can't be connected (VM disabled).

I believe the problem is on Voxalot side, could you take a look?

Account numbers available upon request.

Sincerely,

Mike

Update: It might have something to do with the codecs. The ATA I'm trying to call is SPA3102 and it has preferred codec set to G.729a, Use only preferred -> Yes.

No response from Voxalot support :-( Anyone?

I think most people (I do) use No - Mine works without any problem using this - Bill

True, but I'm paying for traffic. G.729a consumes 8K/s, G.711 - 64K/s and it makes a huge difference!

You might also be paying for something that is not working.
Why don't you try my suggestion with the SPA and if it works you may have a decision to make re costs - Bill

Edit - You could then try to force your codec choice in your Voxalot account settings.
You could only enable g729 for your providers

It's out of the question. The traffic is quite expensive and I make much more calls than I receive. I'd rather forward incoming calls to my cell than switch to G.711.

I'm sure this behavior has something to do with the codecs and most likely your solution will work, but it's just not acceptable.

Seems like this issue has been around for a while:

I'm just wondering why it's not persistent, sometimes I do receive incoming calls...
