Call Forwading problem

I've activated call forwarding to go to voice mail and all was working fine.

Then I de-activated call forwarding but my incoming calls still went to the voice mail. Then I've deleted the call-forwarding entry in the web form but incoming calls still ended up going to the voice mail.

The only way to make the incoming calls to ring my phone was to delete the incoming VSP entry in the 'Provider' tab.

My ATA is Sipura SP-2000 registered with VoXaLot.

I am completely baffled with the call forwarding problem....

Hello willy635,

As mentioned in the email, there are no call forwarding rules being invoked on your account.

I just tried dialing your extension and the phone rang.

Are you sure that it is Voxalot voicemail you are hearing?

Hi Martin, thanks for your time.
As I replied in my email, even though call forwarding is not setup, Voxalot voicemail kicks in with my incoming calls. This can be proven by the Voxalot email I get indicating there is a message waiting in my mail box.

Maybe there is a way to reset my voice mail box ? I really dont mind losing the saved messages in there as long as this problem is fixed.

Or maybe reset my user number? (I donno if it's possible)

Many thanks.

Another thing....

I've just deleted all old voicemail messages but still get that stutter dial tone when I pick up the phone. ( even though no new messages are there)

Obviously something is wrong with my voicemail box setup.

Please help....

Did you wait 5 mins for the voicemail status to be updated?
