incomming calls failing

Hi Martin

All my incomming calls are failing, the problem lies with voxalot as incomming work perfectly when connected without voxalot.

My family is trying to call me to my voxalot extension and they get a busy tone
When I call my registered VOIP provider and then my phone sounds but disconnects the call in the second the phone rings.

None of the VOIP providers connected to voxalot is receiving calls. (I can call out ok as far as I know)

All other family voxalot premiums are working ok it is only my number

It has been like this 2 days at least

What you describe sounds very much like a NAT related issue. Also given the fact that your phone is the only one affected you need to look for any recent changes made at your router / firewall.

I would also try powering off / on your device.

hi Martin

I have not changed anything, I have the same Router I have had for more than a year) nor changed anything Lynksys WRT54GP2. I did re-set the router to factory default and turned it off and on and same thing

I also noticed now that when I call my mobile to my home my mobile shows that the call has been answered (despite my home phone ringing and me not picking up), then I hang up the mobile and my home phone continues to ring and ring like crazy until I pick it up but of course there is no connection as I had already hang up the mobile.

Other other VSPs work perfectly includying, Betamax, Musimi, Pbxes.org. the issue is only voxalot.

I did have a similar problem before like this when it was free and it was solve creating a new account. now that it is paid

Any ideas what can I do to test the NAT with voxalot ? (but myself I have not added any NAT unless my ISP has done it for me ??) and other VSP see to work ok

Hi,

PM me your account and I will see what I can see on our side.

PM on the way in a new minutes, you will notice that the only registered voice service provider at the moment is musimi which is having the problems. Actually i changed this morning to the US server and it work perfectly I could call and receive calls just as always, when I changed to the EU server again the same problem. I can not be NAT otherwise would not work either on the US server, and its working on the US server.

I had the same problem on another premium account which I will also PM you about

I am also having problems with incoming calls. When I ring my MyNetFone DID from my mobile or my Telstra phone, a Voxalot voice tells me that the number at that extension is not available. However, the VoIP phone connected to the PAP2 is ringing and keeps ringing and ringing forever until I pick it up. I do get charged for these failed calls. At the same time, I get an empty Voxalot voicemail message in my Gmail inbox.

My VoIP phone correctly displays the CID of the caller, in this case either my Telstra number or my mobile number.

I have previously reported similar problems with my Pennytel DID. I don't understand why Voxalot reports the number as unavailable when it is in fact ringing.

Voxalot works perfectly for outgoing calls but I haven't had much luck with incoming calls lately.

Thank you, thats was it a configuration error on my part. I thank you very much for your time. I have voted for you on the best international startup too :)

Can I ask you what the error was? It may help me in tracking down why my incoming calls won't work.
