How to register with VoXaLot via IAX2 ???
 

Hi guys! I'm wondering how to register with my voxalot account using Asterisk and IAX2?

I did manage to get it to work using SIP but unfortunately I have a Billion router and the latest firmware seems to have crippled SIP pass through as the device has its own built in ATA and hog's the SIP traffic. :(

I was doing this in Asterisk.

register => 742926: passwd @ au.voxalot.com:5050

I'm also interested in adding SIPbroker prefix routing via my asterisk box. I believe that can be done also. (I remember reading it somewhere).

Still no success (IAX2 from behind a Billion 6404VGP router).
 

I've tried the following with asterisk to get an IAX connection to VoXaLot with no success.

register => 742926 : passwd @ au.voxalot.com

(Note: spaces are only added here to avoid smiles etc in this posting).

I get the following.

Host dnsmgr Username Perceived Refresh State
202.60.88.238:4569 N 742926 <Unregistered> 60 Request Sent

I have also tried port forwarding / port filter allow UDP 4569 & 10000 - 20000.

Still no success. :(

What am I missing.

Or do I need to chuck the Billion and buy a Linksys again? :(

Issue is VoXalot only supports SIP registration, no IAX support......
