Call Connection Rule

One question regarding the Call Connection Rule "if the inbound number is any":

What exactly is this rule matching? Which pattern can / should be added.

"Any" = Any inbound caller ID. In other words it will match any inbound call.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply.

Why can I then add patterns to this rule? This doesn't make sense to me.

I thought it has something to do with the extended connection rules promised by martin: http://forum.voxalot.com/voxalot-sup...id-number.html
