dial plan
 
Hi

using the Test Call I get
A call to:001118007325407 will get forwarded to sip:18007325407@tf.voipmich.com
but it does not ring at all. I tried few times yesterday with another number for no avail.

am I doing something wrong?

The test button on Smart Call (Dial Plan) does not ring any thing - it just shows how the call is routed, that is which provider based on the number you have entered. The function of the Test button is for you to test out your Smart Calls (dial plans) to see how the calls get routed based on the numbers you enter.

sorry, I did not make my self clear,
let me have another try.
when I dial using my phone and key in the numbers as posted, I don't hear it ringing.

Ok apologies, I mis understood your question.

Looks like you are dialling a 1800 number. Voxalot provies free terminations to 1800 numbers in North America. Having said that some 1800 numbers detect the caller-id and if it is not visible or not from an expected source such as a North American area code they may block the call.

Please try another non toll free number. Also do the standard checks to make sure it is not a firewall or some other problem. Suggest you try the echo test by dialling *600 and see if you can hear the audio etc.
