Free Calls dont work through voxalot on Betamax?
 

hi! the ttiel says it all, anyone can help :(
i'm really disappointed.
So, www.lowratevoip.com i try to make a call through sip.lowratevoip.com using voxalot to Cyprus mobile which is listed as Free. (+35799) & i get charged 4c a minute, but when i try to dial it from thier client it's free, what the reason for that?

EDIT: & another question when calling from client Caller ID is showing when from voxalt its not :(

This may not be a Voxalot related problem but Lowratevoips tariff policy.

Cyprus mobile is a socalled superdeal** marked with two stars

At the Lowratevoip rate page it says:

** superdeal tariffs do not apply to SIP users. To benefit from the superdeal please make your calls via the client

I believe the key is the Betamax statement that the free calls are per IP address. IIRC Voxalot now forward on the source IP address which is used by Betamax for validation. If you are using from multiple IP addresses, I would suspect this as the issue.

lowratevoip.com will be only free if you use their programm for calling..if sip used for calls they will charge you..
