Trying To Register a Number with You

Hello,

I am trying to register a DID that I have, The DID is already pointing to my iptel account and works well. The problem is that when I try to register with e164 I am told I will have a call within 15 minutes for confirmation and one never comes??? I have tried to call from my cell phone to one of the pstn numbers listed on Sipbroker and get a busy signal... Are there problems with registering?

Thanks,

Dennis

I tried to call this number but it wouldn't go through manually either.

Unless the number can be called from our provider there is no solution, otherwise anyone could register any number.

I can call other US numbers fine, so not sure if it's an upstream routing issue or what...

I will contact the DID provider

Hi,

I purchased the DID from a company that points the number to a sip provider, maybe this is the problem? It is not an actual PSTN did.

Some companies may route to your provider, but our main provider doesn't I haven't had a great deal of time lately to test other carriers...
