Feature Request - Alternative Pre-Fix for SIPBroker & Speed Dials
 

Hi,

I would like to request an alternative short code for the two functions in the title because my ATA cannot dial * or ** as it uses them for internal commands (internal extensions and internal speed dials).

Would it be possible for instance to have 091 as a sipbroker access as well as * and perhaps 092 as well as ** for the speeddials?

If it helps I have the same problem and solved it by entering the following dial plan:
# Pattern Replacement Provider Active
700 _000. *${EXTEN:3} SIP Broker Yes

This means that anything starting 000 goes via SIP broker

_091 *{EXTEN:3} SipBroker

That should deal with SipBroker.....

I have some reservations whether you can do something similar with SpeedDials though (let me play around with it)

Curious, what ATA are you using?
Are you sure that it is not a matter of adjusting your ATA dial plan to allow for * and ** ?

You can get * and # but you have to remember the release code (which I never do...)

Yep, I am using the Fritz 7140 I think, if you know how to enter the * and # in dialing then I'd be very grateful, I've never been able to get that to work correctly.

Still unable to get the speed dials in Voxalot to work but I am now able to dial SiPBroker direct which means that I am able to do a great deal more without having to set up specific routing which is a huge help.
