simular problem ?

Hi,

maybe we have simular problems/questions?

I am registered at voxalot, but when I get calls, the are not forwarded
to my phone (Linksys SPA 941) but to my voicemalbox.

My questions for help were never answered yet.

If I call myself by dialing 305234@voxalot.com.au the phone is
ringing - so my phone does its job, but in any other case I get a
message in my voicebox.

solved

:)

finally I found the solution.
I had to enter under 'Call Forward' -> 'default'
the default uri: myNo@voxalot.com:

First I tried to set voxalot as one of my providers,
which wasn't possible and call forwarded I understood
as being ment for when I call/dial and not for being called.

Anyway, now my phone rings, when I am called.

but my underatanding is that we are able to forward call which was made to provider A (no VoxLat account) can be forwarded to providrer B by filling up the call forwarding form in VoxLat account website.

i did according to the tutorial but when i call the provider A... the call does not ring to my ATA which is registered to provider B.

so, i raised the questions....

i hope i will get an answer for it soon...

The call forwarding rules in your Voxalot account page is not for calls made to account "A" but to Voxalot itself. If your Voxalot SIP URI receives a call from such-and-such a URI, it will then forward that call to another SIP URI (i.e. account "B" in your example) that you specify.

and what, if I don't want furthewr forwarding, but directly from voxalot to my phone, whioch is registered/online?

In this case, how to set the call forward rules for all calls made to VoxLat SIP URL to be forwarded to another SIP URL (i.e account "B") regardless of where the calls are made from?

To have a call forwarding rule in effect for any and all incoming calls, complete the entry marked "default" in the Call Forwarding page and mark it as Yes (Active).

Then in this case do not have any call forwarding rule in effect (active) on the Call Forwarding page. If Voxalot has no rule to forward the call to another destination, then it will ring the phone you registered with Voxalot.

In my case I don't use Voxalot's call forwarding feature. I have, within my Gizmo Project account and my FWD account, configured them to forward to my Voxalot address, but in my situation I don't actually want it forwarded anywhere further once it reaches my Voxalot account since I register my devices to Voxalot.
