Inbound call routing to a PSTN destination

I have an issue with inbound calls to a dual mode WiFI SIP phone, when not registered to voxalot and the calls should forward via a trunk..

The problem appears to be that when the SIP is not registered , I am sending the calls to a mobile number +521XXXXXXXXXX and the calls do not complete , except on rare occasion.

I have tried multiple providers and currently have the lowest PDD (and most reliable) provider used on those calls. I can use that to make calls via that same route from the wifi part of the handset, but when I try to use it for forwarding calls to the PSTN (and receive them on the same handset via GSM) it seems to not work.

Again the trunk is fine for SIP calls from my registered handset to other GSM phones, but the problem is the inbounds to my USA DIDs that I want forwarded to a Mexican cell phone number.

Hello MarcosJal,
Maybe you could try LiberaIlVoip (supports time scheduled call redirection).

Does the provider in question belong to the BetaMax group by any chance?...it seems like the problem maybe specific between the provider and call forward mechanism

Try using the same setup to forward a call to another number (eg. a US DID) ... if I am right you should see the same problem occur...

It also means that as a solution you may need to find yourself another provider to handle the forwarding leg of the call...
