Dial plan not working
I have a dial plan which previously worked
Pattern: _17325559898 Replacement: a friend's voxalot number Provider: voxalot What this did is when I tried dialing, 17325559898, it automatically replaced it with my friend's voxalot 6-digit number and his phone rang Now, I replaced my friend's voxalot number with his cellphone no - 15168879852 but this doesn't work. When I do a test, it still shows this: A call to:17325559898 will get forwarded to sip:<friend's no>@voxalot.com Is this a bug? Thank you |

Your dial plan was setup correctly, however the reason it was always electing to go via <your_friends_number>@voxalot.com was because there is a specific ENUM route defined in e164.org.
If you go to SIPBroker - ENUM Lookup and enter the number you are trying to dial, you can see that it returns your friend's voxalot URI. To stop this lookup from happening, you can set ENUM Lookup to NO for this dial plan. I have taken the liberty of doing this already for you. Hope that makes some sense. In the meantime, I have raised an internal ticket against the Test Number functionality to indicate that the ENUM lookup has kicked in. -- Craig |
