*600 i can hear but my mic doesn't talk back
Hello Voxalot.
I am trying to call *600 and it calls fine, but when i say something, the machine doesn't say it back like it should. What can the problem be. I am trying this from the softphone and my ATA device with the same result on both. |
It appears to be a classic one way voice connection problem, either the echo test server cannot hear you, or your end cannot hear the machine.
Are you behind a firewalled internet connection? If yes, try repeating the test when you are not behind a firewall. |
i am not behind a firewall.. .i am connected directly to the adsl router with firewall disabled.

just to clear some things up... my setup is as follow ... I am behind a ZXDSL831II NAT router with the firewall turned off and *600 doesn't work. NAT is enabled and i have also tried port forwarding to my x-lite computer host and I have also tried adding it to the dmz but still I only hear the "echo test message" but when the recording ends and i say something it is not repeated back to me.. I have reset my router and started from scratch and same result. currently setup is default with nat enabled and firewall turned off. my spa3102 doesn't respond neither but the audio does work when i call through my VSP.

P L E A S E H E L P ! ! !
Maybe this is a Voxalot issue? |
I have a ZTE ZXDSL modem and the firewall is turned off and the NAT is enabled.
|
I am not familiar with the modem you reference.
However, if NAT is enabled, are you using a STUN set up in your X-Lite? Can you also test with NAT disabled? |
