au.voxalot.com down?

au.voxalot.com appears to be down - no registration on SPA and VoIP Monitoring Statistics | Oz VoIP Status VoIP Monitoring shows down as well - Bill

gotalkvoip 03-04-2009 02:00 AM

same here though

my voxalot accounts show all providers registered but registration from my spa to voxalot shows failed

voxalot status page shows ok which is strange

changed my email to hopefully reset my account but no success

we need a master reset :-)

------

funny can register with the us vox server and 500/600 work but cant callout with my registered providers which all show registered on my vox account

The data centre folk are looking at the problem as we speak. I will let you know once we get an update.

Our analysis suggests that there is a network problem. If you have setup your device to use SRV lookups your service should be failing over to one of the other servers.

Please see: http://forum.voxalot.com/voxalot-sup...lemention.html

Hi Martin is there any time estimation when the network problem will be fixed

thanks for your updates so far

edit; (thought id mention again) strange i can register with vox us server but outbound calls fail, my status vox page shows my vsp accounts r registered and I've checked my vsp's there up and running

cheerz

Use DNS SRV:yes DNS SRV Auto Prefix: yes
Proxy Fallback Intvl: Proxy Redundancy Method:Based on SRV Port

I made the above changes on my SPA 3000 under line 1 and now showing registered - dont know what it all means though - Bill

gotalkvoip 03-04-2009 03:36 AM

I'm afraid to touch my spa settings spent to much time getting it right,.

though i have changed server to US and registers though cant make outbound calls

so wondering Bill,. since your spa is registering can u make outbound calls?

wildbill 03-04-2009 04:10 AM

Yes just got off the phone to my brother using Voxalot - I also remotely accessed his computer and changed his setting (SPA3102) and he is now showing as registered as well - Bill

gotalkvoip 03-04-2009 04:21 AM

thanks my end registers with us as i manually changed the setting to us.voxalot.com:5060 but i cant make outbound calls :(

anyway tryrd to follow your instructions above though doesn't seem to work for me maybe im doing something wrong not sure

anyway firstly have spa2000 which doesn't have: Proxy Redundancy Method

but I also have an spa3102
so i have set:
Proxy Redundancy Method:Based on SRV Port
Use DNS SRV:yes & DNS SRV Auto Prefix: yes

though Proxy Fallback Intvl:
not sure what amount i should use i usually have that same as register expires amount i.e. 900 seconds

also my proxy is set to: au.voxalot.com (on my spa2000)
on my spa3102 au.voxalot.com:5060

anyway settings i have it doesn't fallback and register unless im doing something wrong, does NAT have anything to do with DNS mines switched off

edit: thanks for your help so far

wildbill 03-04-2009 04:43 AM

My interval is 900 - NAT settings are beyond me but mine are set to yes - Enable and Keep Alive at top of Line 1 page also the following settings on the Sip page

Substitute VIA Addr:yes Send Resp To Src Port: yes
STUN Enable:yes STUN Test Enable: yes
STUN Server:stun.voxalot.com:3478 EXT IP:
EXT RTP Port Min: NAT Keep Alive Intvl: 15

Hope this works and also helps to power cycle SPA after changing things and also to backup your config before getting brave - Bill
