Connecting to a provider that doesn't require ID/pw

I'm trying to connect to TellMe using VoXaLot but it insists on having a user ID password which I "beleive" is why it's failing to work.

The direct connection is just this.
sip:8005558965@sip.studio.tellme.com

I setup a "TellMe" provider (with a fake id/password) and a dialplan to call 8005558965 via the "TellMe" provider. It looks fine in the test, but it fails to connect with an "484 Address Incompleate" error

Any ideas/pointers/corrections?

Have your tried adding a 1 in front: sip:18005558965@sip.studio.tellme.com ?

Also, 18005558965 returns an enum record from e164.org so you should not have to set anything up in the dialplan. Just dial the number.

I didn't even thing of that.... and I was wondering why the number was so long!

In addition to the other suggestions, don't forget about SIP Broker (*code) type dialing (especially for "open proxies"). In the case of "sip.studio.tellme.com", it looks like the SIP Code (listed here: http://www.sipbroker.com/sipbroker/a...iderWhitePages ) is *7442.

So it would be useful to try the following two dialing sequences (to see if either work):

*74428005558965

or *744218005558965

NOTE: When looking over the SIP Broker *code list ( http://www.sipbroker.com/sipbroker/a...iderWhitePages ), it is very handy to use the "search" function. For example, I was able to find the above code easily, simply by searching for the proxy "sip.studio.tellme.com".

You found it because I added it :) Does not seem to work though, I am getting a 400 Bad Request error.

Dialing 18005558965 connects but I get no sound.
