Linksys WIP300 not receiving calls from sipbroker
 
Hi,

I have a sipphone account and sipbroker PSTN numbers works great with Gizmo 3 softphone!

I just bought a Linksys WIP300 Wi-fi phone.
It works perfectly to make and receive calls from other sipphone accounts, but any call from sipbroker is always redirected to my voicemail.

Hi,

I just found out that I missed the STUN configuration:

# Select "NAT Solution" and press the "Select" softkey.
# Select the "STUN Address" and press the "Select" softkey. Enter stun01.sipphone.com" (lowercase) for this setting and press the "OK" softkey. The STUN Port 3478 default setting can remain as is.

Everything working fine now!

Well, it turned out to be a little bit more tricky.

My Belkin router was dropping the connection from its table after some 'not configurable' period of time.
So, I set the SIP registration time on the phone to 85 seconds. This increases the load on the server, but guaranties that the port will be kept open in the router and so the phone will receive the calls.

I also fixed the IP address on the phone and disabled the STUN.

It is working properly now, except for a bug in the phone firmware (1.00.09) that sometimes hangs when the phone is registering on the SIP server. But I noticed that disabling the phone screen saver reduces significantly the frequency of this problem.
