any lack with voicestick?

to register with Voxalot?

Unfortunately, my voiceStick registration on Voxalot also fails. I tried the same account on my phone adapter and it works perfectly. I used i2telecom.com for registration and 206.165.50.116 for outgoing calls.

Can we kindly ask Voxalot administrator to look into it?

VoiceStick has excellent rates and telephone numbers are for free so it would be nice to have it working with Voxalot. I can PM my Voxalot number.
Thanks a lot in advance!

The i2telecom proxy is rejecting your credentials. If you can provide us a link explaining how they expect credentials to be passed we can compare with what we are doing.

I don't know if this will help.

If I could at least get the outbound to work it would be great. Thanks

I believe there is also an obstacle in that VoiceStick requires the use of an outbound proxy server. It's not clear there is any way to specify an outbound proxy server when setting up a VoXaLot Provider entry.

Thanks for looking into this problem.

Outgoing calls work excellent with Voxalot (I tried web callback).
For one VoiceStick account I created two entries in Voxalot provider list. One for outgoing calls (vs_out) with the host 206.165.50.116 and another one (vs_reg) for registration with i2telecom.com as a host. Username and password are the same since it is the same VoiceStick account. So, for outgoing calls I use vs_out and I suppose I can use vs_reg for registration, but the registration does not work.

I will also look into my Linksys logs where I have i2telecom.com as Proxy and 206.165.50.116 as Outbound Proxy, which works fine for incoming and outgoing calls.

just something to add to my previous post:
For vs_out registration is off, for vs_reg the registration is on (fails, unfortunately) under Voxalot provider configuration.

I'm able to register to my VoiceStick account and originate/receive calls using X-Lite. Here is the configuration I have:
Username: my VoiceStick#
Authorization User: same VoiceStick#
Domain/Realm: i2telecom.com
SIP Proxy: i2telecom.com
Outbound Proxy: 206.165.50.116
Everything else has default parameters.

Martin:
I collected a log which I sent to you via PM. I logged registration and incoming call.
I hope it will help to make VoiceStick work on Voxalot and please let me know if there is anything I can do from here.
Thanks a lot!

I don't know if it is possible to get VoiceStick incoming working with Voxalot, but you can get Voicestick outgoing working. Theoretically we don't need an outbound proxy option, because we could simply make two separate entries in our provider list, Voicestick Incoming, and Voicestick Outgoing, putting in the appropriate fields into each of them. Then we use the Voicestick Outgoing provider in our dial plans.

Thanks a lot, I hadn't thought of that. Now I can use my minutes.
