Tpad / Voxalot
Hello!
I am a very happy user of Voxalot, thanks guys for this GREAT service. Today I registered my Tpad account with voxalot, but have not been able to use it *for receiving calls*. Has anyone else been successful with the Tpad/Voxalot combination? Many thanks, Regards, Santiago Montevideo-Uruguay |
Tpad works great
Tpad works great now with Voxalot. I get nearly every day calls on my Tpad number, which is installed in Voxalot. Read my reviews!

Have you set SIP register to yes?
Click edit on the provider list and at the bottom set sip register to yes. Wait 5mins (but up to 1 hour) and then incoming calls should work. |
Hello tomblandford&El Condor,
Thank you for your replies. Yes, I set register to yes. I have tried dialing into the Buenos Aires and the Guatemala Break In numbers, to test. I have been able to get through only 2 times, out of the 30 something times I tried over the past 24 hours... Really strange. But it's good to know that you have been successful, as I now know that it works and, therefore, I am doing "something" wrong. Any other thoughts appreciated. Regards, Santiago |
For Buenos Aires you can also use the SIPBroker break-in numbers. At the prompt enter *010xxxxxx where xxxxxx is you voxalot ID. SIPBroker - PSTN Numbers
Presumably it is saying registered for your Tpad account on your voxalot providers list? Not sure why it won't work. |
Hi tomblandford,
Yes, I use the sipbroker service a lot. I actually registered with Tpad as I need the Guatemala City Break In. I just called Buenos Aires to test as it is the nearest place to my place in Montevideo. The only thing I am thinking now is that it should be some codec issue... I have tpad with the generic Voxalot codec settings (g729, ulaw, alaw) and the voxalot registered with my Sipura with the 711u codec as default. Regards, Santiago |
So...
When I "reboot" my ATA (A Sipura SPA 1001) and therefore voxalot registers, Tpad works perfectly (for receiving calls) for a few minutes. But after a few minutes, it is as if the registration of Tpad was lost. Voxalot continues to work (e.g. I can make outgoing calls through Voipbuster registered with Voxalot), but not receiving calls anymore. Any thoughts? Thanks! Santiago |

What's the purpose of using Tpad... Can"t we do the same things with SipBroker' numbers ? (as I see no toll-free in number for Belgium... Too sad ) |
Tpad offers inbound numbers in places that Sipbroker does not... e.g. Guatemala City (where I need to be called from).

I too cant Tpad to work with VOxoalot. Voxalot shows my Tpad account as registered but no incoming calls get through.
Tpad say they are not blocking any thing. |
