How long does it take for DID verification??

I registered with e164.org about 12 hours ago, the DID verification status has been "Call queued for calling" the whole time, is this a normal amount of time to wait for the verification call or is this a bit strange??

Ok this morning, I deleted the previous DID and added another one.... Still waiting for the call with the PIN.

I started another account for my parents and listed there Australian number and got a call back within 10 minutes with the PIN, so I'm guessing that the reason that its taking longer for my DID is I selected North America for the PIN language...

Would it make a difference if I changed the PIN language to Australian?

What does this PIN language selection do??

Ok it came through this morning, wow that took a while!

After you login to e164.orf go to my account. There you can define what timezone you are in and a time range of when you would like your calls to be verified. Perhaps this is why it took a long time?

Time zone only applies to re-verification of SIP routes. The initial verification call should come through within 15 to 30 minutes, any longer and there is a failure somewhere.

Common problems:

* Phone company blocks international calls or calls with no CID
* Using a voice menu system - our system isn't able to enter extensions
* Incorrectly configured systems at your end while the call is sent
* Call is answered which triggers our end to send the message/PIN before a human gets the call (common in some Asterisk examples)
* Our internet link died while trying to make the call
* Our SIP provider(s) died

The test call with PIN on number +7 495 6877598 does not come.

What to do in the given situation?

How to enter a code 011 if in the form of to the address of https://www.e164.org/pstnadd.php is only:
...
What is your country code?
Area/City code
Local phone number:
...
The countries with a code 0117 there are not present.

Ooops... My mistake -- works for me in Ukraine using the pulldown menu and selecting that... Only thing i can think of is maybe to check your timezone setting...

Timezone has nothing to do with the initial verification call, if it doesn't come through within 15-30 minutes there is an issue with our system, your system, your provider, their upstream or our upstream providers are unable to send a call to the number you specified.

The system will allow you to re-queue the call 3 times and then you'll need to contact support to unlock the number, the reason numbers get locked is to prevent people abusing the system and sending calls to someone else to annoy them.
