Suggestion: Echo Test Callback
Most people use the *600 echo test when they first setup a system.
But to test incoming calls you usually need a friend to keep calling you or use one of the PSTN gateways to call your SIP number. For those who are not in a city with a local PSTN gateway this can get expensive. Can I suggest that voxalot have another number (eg *700) where you can call, hangup and then ten seconds later, voxalot will call your number back and initiate the echo test, so you can check the incoming audio. |
Sorry to bump this, but as I was editing a SipBroker Alias this came to mind:
-Go here SIPBroker - EziDial -Enter your VoXalot SIP URI (or *010xxxxxx) and you'll receive a call that connects you to the echo test (not really a callback, but close) -This is also neat if you want a quick way of testing that certain providers are accepting calls via SIP URI and what the voice quality/delay is like |
Is EZDial working?

Hi, I just try it today and seams to me that the Ez Dial is not working.

There also seems to be an http://forum.voxalot.com/voxalot-support/4167-echo-problem-inbound-calls.html.
