Voxalot and HongKong HKBN 2B
Hi
Anyone out there using HKBN 2B (HongKong VSP) service via voxalot? I've been trying to register to hkbn 2b via voxalot, but the registration status always shows request sent, my other registration to two australian VSP are showing registered and I can make and receive calls using the Australian VSP. voip-info.org has some information on configuring Asterisks to work with hkbn 2b, http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/a...mment_id=12418) and some people in other forums also indicated they were able to register using sipura SPA3000. Please help... |
I've been trying various setting with my Asterisk, and it seems that the only way to register to the HKBN 2B network is by adding the the following line to the /etc/hosts file (as described in the voip-info.org forum)
203.80.89.135 s2hkbntel.net s21.hkbntel.net I really like the VoXalot service, but if it doesn't work with hkbn, then I might have to turn on my asterisk box and pay that extra money for electricity bill and bear with the heat and noise the box generate. :) |
Hi VoXalot support,
Is it possible to add the following to the /etc/hosts files? 203.80.89.135 s2hkbntel.net s21.hkbntel.net It would be best if VoXalot can provide support of outbound proxy, but while we waiting for this feature, adding the above hosts would at least help HKBN 2B subscribers (Like myself) to continue to enjoy your good service. |
