Free redirection from VoIP to mobile phones

I really like the idea of 4s newcom's free redirection from VoIP to mobile phones. Wherever you are, even outside Wifi, your cell phone rings when someone calls one of your VoIP numbers. It's a free call forward over GSM, making use of flat-rate cell phone tariffs.

Software suite integrates PBX functionality with prepaid system
Berlin-based 4S newcom has introduced its latest product range for fixed, mobile converged VoIP. The software suite, 4S FMCd, is designed to integrate PBX functionality with a carrier-grade prepaid system to offer high-level IP Centrex functionality to mobile users.....

Why they call it Skype mouse. Is it locked only to Skype? In reading the datasheet it says it "Seamlessly integrated with Skype, VoipButser, VoipStunt, VoIPCheap, VoipDiscount, SparVoip,
Internetcalls, poivY, WebCallDirect, VoipCheapCom, FreeCall and NetAppel. Does this mean it is restricted to these VSPs only?

It is not locked to Skype. Beyondtel company is an OEM factory, and resellers can rename its products.

If you only install mouse driver software,it supports Skype、VoipButser, VoipStunt, VoIPCheap, VoipDiscount, SparVoip、Internetcalls, poivY, WebCallDirect, VoipCheapCom, FreeCall and NetAppel. Certainly,You should install Voip provider soft client at first.

If you also install X-TAPI Lite/Pro(you can download it from Beyondtel's Web,in fact,it is X-Lite) ,this mouse phone can support almost all SIP Voip provider(include Voxalot). I have not verified this point, but i have an other Voip toy made by Beyondtel. I think so.

It indeed 'feels' like it, but it isn't...
Because only associated numbers can be used to make a call from.
So it's not possible to make the number public.

What would be really cool: www.FREElocalDIDforEVERYONE.com or something like it :-)

Disclaimer: don't click on it, the domainname does NOT exist ...

I was having a play with www.gizmocall.com and I have noticed that when I call the associated number, it answers straight away whilst the gizmo phone/plugin is ringing and waiting for me to answer. It appears that you get charged for the call even though it may not get answered. As some people have to pay a connection fee this is not at all a good way of doing it.

Anyone else noticed this?

I do like the fact that you can set it up to forward all incoming calls to sip:XXXXXX@voxalot.com
