Packet8 as provider
I have not been able to get packet8 registered as a provider, mainly because all they provided me with is a PSTN number.
I assume the Username should NOT be this but should be my account login to my Packet8 and my password. Also I have tried proxy.packet8.net and also packet8.net for the host, but I still am not registered. SIP Register is YES and Active is YES. I don't know how to register this one. Fonosip.com works fine. |

Try this config which worked back in 2003 (also try various near-variants of it):
SIP proxy: packet8.net Username: {Your Packet8 phone number, including leading '1'} Password: {The 10-digit PIN code they emailed you that you entered during activation.} Last edited by ctylor; 05-31-2006 at 01:35 AM. |
