CLI Presentation
Could anyone advise me how [if possible] I can present my phone number?
Quite a few companies will not accept calls from an unknown / withheld caller. My carrier will pass any CLI information for me but not enable me to set it at their end. I would like to present the CLI from my incoming trunk on my outgoing calls. Furthermore if I forward an incoming call would the incoming callers CLI be passed? |

If your VSP passes your caller id, then you can try, on 'advanced settings', using it on 'from user' field and your user credential on 'username' field (password credential is as usual). This configuration works with some providers like Blasterphone and it used to work with VoipBuster and other Betamax clones.
Sample Configuration: Provider Name*: Blasterphone From User: 5521xxxxxxxx [your caller id] From Domain: voipcontrol.net Username*: 883510001xxxxxx Codecs*: ulaw;alaw;g726;g729 Host*: voipcontrol.net Port*: 5060 Regards, Last edited by carlosalbffgomes; 02-27-2011 at 08:25 PM. |
