Default MWI and SIP Notify

My IP-Phone (Snom 300) has support for 4 accounts. It has 1 key for calling a voicebox. When it receives a SIP Notify that a message is waiting, it remembers the account name from the sip notify (e.g. 123456@voxalot.com). When I press the voicebox key it dials this number.

This works perfectly with my account at www.dus.net, because they use accountname "vmail@dus.net" in the SIP notify message, and this is the uri for calling the voicebox.

Voxalot uses my account number (123456@voxalot.com) and this does not lead to my voicebox.

There are two possible solutions for this issue:

1. put 500@voxalot.com in the account name of the sip notify, or

2. go to the voicebox menu if I dial my own number.

Hi Jochen,

Seems there are not too many Snom users around...?
I just connected up a new Snom 320. So far very impressed; Call quality is excellent and up to 12 registrations and feature and feature etc...

Anyway, can you elaborate a little on your post.
>> 1. put 500@voxalot.com in the account name of the sip notify, or
Can you tell me where this option is?

>> go to the voicebox menu if I dial my own number.
Now I feel like a real idiot, How do I do that?

Cheers,
Mark

Mark, you misunderstood me. I meant that Voxalot should take one of these actions, so that the Snoms voicebox key works as expected.

You can set one of the programmable keys to F_RETRIEVE. Then this key will blink when there is a message waiting, and if you press that key the corresponding voicebox is called.

You can configure a voicebox URI per account in the identity->login page. But this is only used when there is no message waiting. With a message waiting, the Snom takes the URI out of the SIP notify packet.

Regards
Jochen

Default Dialplan

How about creating a dialplan in voxalot such that whenever you dial your own extension, it substitutes 500
