Problems with Voxalot and Billion 6404
I just cant get this thing to register!!!
I am *trying* to use my voxalot account over 3 locations - work, work and home - I can get it to work on a Billion 7404, a Billion 7402, but not on my Billion 6404 at home. All the settings are correct (au.voxalot.com), RTP 5100 etc. I am using ports 5060, 4060, and 5062 for each different line at work, and at home I have tried a whole different lot: 5061, 443, 80 etc (read through the post about what ports you can use). I have tried disabling / enabling the firewall on the router, forwarding ports, etc. But, I keep getting a SIP registration error and cant dial out. Any ideas? |

Anyone??
I know that this is a community based forum, but this is a paid service and it would be nice if a admin or mod could give me a hand..... |

The fact that a Billion 7404, and a Billion 7402 work reliably, means the Billion 6404 must have something that's going wrong... Have you tested any other device or softphone from behind your home connection (which would eliminate an issue with your connection, firewall etc. )? Does the Billion 6404 work with other providers? |

Hi, and thanks for the reply!
Yes, I have tested a softphone and it works fine. My previous provider was working fine, but they then decided to say goodbye to calls without SIP rego, so I came to voxalot. I will try another device on the W/E and see how it goes - in the mean time, any advice would be welcome! |
