Linphone setup

Hi,
I am trying to configure Linphone. In the Proxy config box I have "Send Registration" ticked, "Registration Period" 900, "SIP Identity" my userid, "SIP Proxy" voxalot.com, "Route" blank, "Publish presence" ticked.

Every couple of minutes in presents a popup "Authentication Requested", "realm" voxalot.com, "username" I enter my voxalot member number, "userid" I enter my voxalot member number, "password" I enter the voxalot website password.

Everytime it pops up another blank "Authentication Requested" window.

What have I got wrong???

Okay, stop looking :-)

Linphone doesn't support Asterisk authentication protocols.

I've used X-Lite okay, & there are many more that may work. Have a hunt around on Google.

Hi there,

FYI The authentication between phone and VoXaLot uses standard SIP authentication provided by a customised variant of OpenSER (not asterisk).

It might be that Linphone has problems authenticating against OpenSER?

Linphone works fine for me. Try the following: set "SIP Identity" to "sip:userid@voxalot.com", set "SIP Proxy" to "sip:voxalot.com".
