Question What is the "Inbound CID Pattern" for "no caller ID/number"?

Hello,

I want inbound call's without caller-id(number) forward to a mailbox with a message "This phone can not ring without your number, please call again with your number." or something like that.

But which "Inbound CID Pattern" matches "no caller ID/number"?
_Z.(not beginning with zero)(no number is zero too?) ?
_ (is nothing?) ?
_ ?

(BTW: Voxalot's "lady of the voicemail" want make the message? )

Sorry call forwarding CID if left blank in a rule will forward *all* inbound calls. It's a nice suggestion though and one I have made a note of.

BTW the voicemail lady message can be changed by dialing *500 and at the prompt dial:

0 -> mailbox options and then 1->Record message etc.
.

Default Freedigits "Inbound CID Pattern"

Inbound CID Pattern work fine if it is in number format, but in case of Freedights, there CID is not a number format but in characters like "Freedigits" and Inbound CID Pattern does not recognized in Call Forward list and fails.
As a suggestion make Inbound CID Pattern alpha numeric to handle all situations.

This is kinda funny... I just wanted to post a question on how to setup a pattern for "caller ID not presented" because I want to use exactly this with Voxalot.
I have used this with sipgate, but since they decided to block Voxalot I will terminate the account.

The reason for this feature request is that many telemarketers call with CLI disabled. So I want a mailbox message saying:
"Unfortunately you cannot reach me directly because your CLI is not presented. Please call again presenting your CLI or leave a message after the tone..."

Martin, when do you think the feature will be made available?

There are a couple of new rule types we want to add to call forwarding and this will be one of them as well as the ability to allow calls through for example family members etc.

I find it varies with your DID provider. AFAIK, an incoming SIP URI call always has a sip:something@provider.org address (or sip:something@0.0.0.0). Figure out what the caller id is reported as in in your software/sip device--I find unknown is typically sent as "0" (the numeral zero) with Voxbone--and enter a generic rule for it.

Lightbulb New number match rule type "has no digits" in Call Connection (Call Forwarding)

So for example:

100 has no digits Every - - 0878720433 via Xs4all Yes

Thanks to dutch "Saskia" and english "I forgot her name" .
