Default Configuration problem

Hello,

I have rencently adopted your tool voxalot but I don't achieve to configure it.
I have a siemens S450ip phone and I have 2 VOIP providers: Justvoip and 3starsnet.
I used to use justvoip directly on my sipphone but now I want to use 3starsnet also (specially for the income calls).
I attached herewith a copy of my configurations because I don't find my mistake...
I have followed the installation procedure described on your website but I have to miss something... Could you please help me.
Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

I have a similar issue as Rober (albeit with Voipbuster as provider). I can see that my ATA (Siemens C455 IP) connects to Voxalot, but all outgoing calls routed via Voxalot and then Voipbuster give a busy tone. A direct call via Voipbuster works well. I have a basic Voxalot account, but that shouldn't make any difference, should it?

You should be able to make outgoing calls via Voxalot and then Voipbuster with a Basic account.

Can you dial 600 and reach the echo test ?
Can you dial 500 and access your Voxalot voicemail ?
Do you have a dial plan to handle the call routing to Voipbuster ?

Kurun, I am not able to reach the echo or voicemail (busy signal, display on my device says "VOIP not available!" (in Dutch)). As to the dial plan, the test button says that the various numbers I have tried to call will be forwarded to the exact same respective numbers via Voipbuster (which means - unless I am misunderstanding things - that the dial plan routes those calls to Voipbuster).

It does look like your ATA is not registering with the Voxalot server.
What is the ATA you are using?
Is your ATA behind a router on a private IP address?
You should probably activate the STUN feature on your ATA.

Until you get the test numbers to work, you will not be able to make other calls.
Voice mail access - 500 or *500
Echo test - 600 or *600
Other - *266300

Then you also need a dial plan in your Voxalot account to handle the calls via your Voice Service providers.

Kurun,

My ATA (is it an ATA?) is a Siemens C455 IP. It is certainly registering with the Voxalot server (checked on Voxalot - Devices Registered with Voxalot). My dial plan is a very simple one, and the outcome of the test (via the test-button on this website) is that all calls are routed to Voipbuster. I still get, however, the busy tone and the message on the screen of my handset that Voip is not available. Same results with 500 and *500.

Direct connection to Voipbuster works like a charm. I need Voxalot for a dial plan between my ATA and Voipbuster.

Any other thoughts to get Voxalot running for me?

It appeared to be on the side of the Siemens. Rober, check your S450IP settings in your webbrowser under 'Telephony' and then 'Number Assignment'. Make sure that the 'Connections for outgoing calls' matches the IP# under which you have defined Voxalot (IP# as described should match the IP# of Voxalot under 'Connections'). It should then work. Good luck.

Glad you found the problem.
It might be helpful to other users with the same hardware, if you could post the set-up screens for the Siemens C455 IP phone, with any personal information removed. Thanks.
