To be fair, only advanced features like:
-SIP Registration -Call Forwarding -Web/Mobile Callback -VoiceMail on the Web are now premium features....... You can still use VoXalot to create least cost routing plans and place calls via different providers (A PAP2 + VoXBasic = SPA3102 with its gateway feature) You can still have numbers ring VoXalot as long as the providers allow Free SIP URI forwarding And if you really want "free as free beer" there are still possibilities as long as you are willing to do the legwork and sacrifice some quality.... All that said, keep in mind that during the time we were getting things for free, someone was paying for the bandwith, the server, and the programming hours.....and if there is cash flowing out with nothing coming in, something's gotta give (I hope you agree with me). So the premium plans ensure the project is sustainable and can keep going, while there is still some sophisticated free features in place. For an idea on what's free and what isn't see: http://forum.voxalot.com/voxalot-sup...html#post10498 |
