I managed to record by using my cell phone. The quality is not great but I hope it is acceptable.

EDIT: Reuploaded the recording, it was incomplete.

If you encounter any problems when dialing an international number let me know
what the dialed number is. It might also help to use the GSM codec if you are not in the Netherlands.

I just had a conversation with my mother using VraagAlexVoip and the quality was very good. I experienced some minor echo at the beginning, but no problems after that. Congratulations !
One other thing > where can I find an updated list of free destinations (I just want to know if calls to Romanian land lines are free)? Thank you.

P.S. Is it possible to have the welcome message in English for calls that originate outside Netherlands?

You can easily translate the website from dutch to English using
Google Translate
1. Choose Dutch to English translation
2. Enter the website address: HomeÂ*-Â*VraagAlex.nl | Het alternatief voor 0900-nummers

No, VraagAlexVoip doesn't offer free calls to Romanian landlines, yet..

I was just playing yesterday and I tried to put my own caller ID in the “From User” box (right now I put my username) and it didn’t work. It sounded like I got the same message that I recorded above; as soon as I put back my username in the “From User” box everything was back to normal. Is there a way to register my own CID for when I dial out? I am not complaining, so far my experience was positive, it was just a thought.
