How to reduce Echo with Handytone 486 ?
Dear Forum Members,
I have an echo with my Handytone 486 and Voxalot. Have you any suggestions how this can be reduced ? We have two telephone numbers from DID World Wide connected to Voxalot and a DECT phone connected via the Handytone 486 to Voxalot. I assume it is a question of configuring the Handytone correctly but what would be the best configuration ? Many thanks for your help. Biu |

Echo is more often than not attributed to your volume settings. I'm not familiar with this device however see if you can find some settings that will allow you to lower the incoming audio (assuming the echo is on your side).

There are Volume Amplification fields in the FXS Port Tab, marked TX (Transmit) and RX (Receive) in the AT-496.
There must be something similar for the AT-486. Also, make sure you have upgraded firwmare. Original firmware did not work! Grandstream - Innovative IP Telephony |
