Default Link2Voip Setup

Hi folks,

I have recently subscribed to Link2Voip, which I want to use for SIP termination, but I have problems settings it up. I always get a 603 SIP server error when trying to dial.

Here's my setup:

Here is the dialplan:

My questions are:
1. In what format does Link2Voip expect numbers to be passed over? For example to dial in a Number in Germany (49):
a) 49xxxyyyyyyyyy
b) 01149xxxyyyyyyyy
c) 149xxxyyyyyyyyy
d) ????
I've tried a) to c) and none does work.

2. How do transfer my own number (not a Link2Voip hosted DID!!!) as CLI? Can I set my number as "From user", which works just perfectly with Betamax clones? What is required number format?

I have solved my problem on my own:

The correct number format for Link2Voip is 011 49 ...

Regarding the CLI see https://www.link2voip.com/faq/#faq59

I have created the respective SIP users and it works.

To prevent the 603 error I had to add my IP address to the table shown above ("SIP Outbound Trusted IPs").
With my softphone I can now use Link2Voip via Voxalot and it is showing the correct CLI.

With my ATA (AVM Fritz!Box 7270, see signature) I'm still getting the 603 errors, so that this issue is only partly solved. Also updating my dynamic IP address on the Link2Voip homepage is not really an option for me... :-(

Although I set up an account with Link2Voip I've never actively used it...

That said I would fire an email to support... just to try to clear up that they are not blacklisting your IP just because it is from overseas... I have heard of a lot of people using them...a requirement to have a static IP to use seems odd...

On that note wouldn't they be seeing the VoXalot IP instead of yours?
