My previous replies were deleted by the system because they were perceived as spam. After several attempts, I realized that trying to embed the link to the FAQ in my reply was the cause. False positives are tricky little beggers.

I have some problem checking voice mail on x-lite version 3.0 build 47546
when ever I dial *500 or *600 it says person you are calling is unavailable.

Also note that when ever I choose "register with domain and receive incoming calls" it says registration error but If I don't choose to register with domain and receiving incoming call" it registers and ready.

under sip settings
I have put us.voxalot.com as domain and
us.voxalot.com:5060 as proxy

also dialing plan is #1\a\a.T;match=1;prestrip=2;

can you tell me what is wrong in my configuration?

Hi vikasintl,

I sure wish I had an answer for you, but I don't see anything wrong with your setup.

You're using the same version of x-lite as me; same domain, proxy, and dialplan. In the Properties / Voicemail tab I have the "Number to dial for checking voicemail" set to
sip:*500@voxalot.com, but that shouldn't matter if you're dialing *500 directly.

The only thing I can think of is that it might be a firewall issue, but I'm no expert with those.

Have you tried "Domain: voxalot.com:5060" instead of "Domain: us.voxalot.com" ?

On a Grandstream HT-502 ATA voicemail does not work for me as well. The IVR returns "Login incorrect".

I thought it has something to do with DTMF, because from Eyebeam softphone I'm able to authenticate and hear the actual messages but not from my ATA.

However I dialed from my ATA *645904 a mosuelike.org echo test and when the IVR requested option 1 for an echo testing the system accepted my choice, again this is from my ATA. Could it be possible this 'issue' to be originating from your servers?

Fixed after disabling DTMF via SIP INFO
