Yes, that would work perfectly for all the US and European VoIP providers I've encountered so far. They all want the number presented in an international format that ENUM can handle. It appears that many providers in your neck of the woods want numbers presented in rather unusual formats which would require the new "Replacement to ENUM" field.

The other thing to bare in mind is that our ENUM lookup accomodates all international prefixes used through-out the world.

i.e. If you pass 00-1-800-555-1212 to either VoXaLot or SIP Broker it is smart enough to parse out the ENUM number to lookup.

Likewise 0011-1-800-555-1212 or 011-1-800-555-1212

evilbunny made a suggestion in another thread to handle international formats and I just rembered that to a certain extent we already do this.

I was aware (through personal testing) that Sip Broker handles ENUM lookups properly in all international formats. I'm glad to hear that VoXaLot does also.

It's a shame that all VoIP providers don't use one of the international formats for their input. Then ENUM lookups from VoXaLot wouldn't require the extra Dial Plan replacement field.
